The son of Italian immigrants, Larry Cimmarusti grew up in Los Angeles, California, graduated from Eagle Rock High School and Glendale Community College. Larry and his brother, Ralph, established and Italian deli in Hollywood, California, which was a popular establishment among the local community and Hollywood elite. The Cimmarustis then because Burger King franchisees and, eventually, one of the top 100 largest restaurant franchisees in the country. Building on their success, the family branched out into casual dining to become one of the largest franchisees of Tony Roma’s Restaurants in Southern California. Last but not least, the company purchased the Original Roadhouse Grill chain, another casual dining concept. The family now operate eleven Original Roadhouse Grill restaurants and own several large real estate developments. Larry is actively involved in Catholic charities.
